The Next Step of Us

Alright now, thank God that I finally have ample time to do this post!

 As you all know, 07 September 2013 marks a special day for me, for him, for Us.

That's 2 days after my birthday and another round of celebration for me.

Well, the words on the picture above-mentioned would be pretty self-explanatory.

My ultimately extravagant and delicious cake and cupcakes made by my very own cake artist, also my best friend too, Malaque! You can order your birthday / engagement / wedding / just-for-fun cakes from her too if you'd like.


Swear my heart was beating fast, as if at the rate of lightning, the moment he came into the room.
( Sorry for the extremely distracting drawer. One of the handles came off at the wrong timing. LOL! )

I must say, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude and love on that day itself.

A ginormous thank you to every one who took the effort to wear blue / white ( REALLY touched by this alone ), my family and relatives who cooked many different mouth-watering dishes and some who traveled all the way from the West and North to my humble house for my humble and simple yet fulfilling engagement day. We're keeping the fancy part for The big day. Hehe

Calendar Girl

Just a random update of the random moments and visuals caught on camera for the past few months up till July that didn't quite make it as a post, either due to procrastination or the pictures not being up to certain criteria based on my judgement ; They say Virgos are analytical beings. Pun totally intended. Pretty excited for this lovely month of September. Favourite time of the year, every year. No prize for guessing why cause it's pretty obvious hehe.

Also, this September, marks an exceptionally significant stage of my life because not only I'm turning a year older, a very special moment will soon take place, a moment which I'll definitely hold dearly and closely to my heart. This upcoming week and next ( The Marquette Flea coming to you guys soon! ) especially, I doubt I'll be able to conceal my mirth. My blog's gonna go for a revamp soon too so do keep a lookout! Despite being thoroughly busy running errands, I certainly look forward to this month and I hope you are too. New adventures, new experience, new challenges. Change is good sometimes.

Black jaguars.

Hello again! This would be officially be my final post with long hair. Met up with my adorable Sirin ( finally got to meet her again cause she finally ended her exams! ) and Rachel of www.rachelbambi.com, last Saturday for a short lunch before she left for Australia to further pursue her education. Hope you're doing well there, Rach!

The day after, we worked together for a photo shoot for an upcoming brand and I was assisting her as a stylist too! It was actually my first time and I must say it was really fun experience and I'd do it a thousand times over. So.. if anybody wants to hire a part-time stylist .... Do give me a buzz!

How Two Dress.

 

Meet the ever-so-gorgeous Syirin of The Beautiful & Damned. I'm sure some of you might have seen her somewhere. That's right, she's the 2nd runner up for last year's New Face! Look at the last picture of us strutting towards the camera ( we had fun doing this and a good time laughing at ourselves ), and obviously I failed to 'werque' it like her. 

She's another of those friends I can click with instantly when we first conversed. Yup, also another friendship that bloomed via Instagram.We finally met up the other day for lunch - or was it dinner? Okay, Dinch - apart from our other random short meetup to pass our Nastygal purchases to each other. This girl's a major Nastygal addict and so she passed on that drug to me, and I got hooked ever since. It's kinda funny how we had to tell each other what we were going to wear before we met up the other day because we have many identical apparels and also the same JC shoe. We have similar personality traits and habits as well and that's maybe the particular reason why we can relate well. 

To many more years of friendship ahead, yes? (:

Wasn't really in the best of moods to rock any striking outfit that day but if you're wondering, I was wearing Nasty Gal's Parallel lines dress and Jeffrey Campbell's Rockspring. I promise to rock this dress better by infinite next time!
